Environmental Manager

Teresa Conner is the Environmental Manager at Hollister Mine and the Esmeralda Project. Ms. Conner is responsible for compliance, permitting, reclamation and closure for both properties. She joined the company in June of 2009 bringing more than 28 years of experience in both the mining and oil and gas industries to her role. In the past she has worked for agencies that include the U.S. Geological Survey, the Minerals Management Service and the Bureau of Land Management. While working in government service she became very familiar with the development of rules and regulations and implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act. Ms. Conner has also worked for Valdez Creek Mining Company, Newmont Mining Corporation, Lafarge, Queenstake Resources, Converse Consultant, JBR Consultants, and as a private consultant. She has held numerous positions including: Reclamation Manager, Short Term, Long Range and Ore Control Engineer, Project Engineer and Environmental Manager. Ms. Conner holds a B.S. degree in Mining and Geological Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
