Mine Operations Manager

Doug Crawford is the Mine Operations Manager at Hollister Mine. His role is to lead the Hollister operational team in safe, productive delivery of budgeted targets. Responsibilities include oversight of mine safety, mine operations and maintenance, surface infrastructure, and development and training of staff. Mr. Crawford has more than 29 years experience in the mining industry in both underground and surface mining. He has worked for mining contractors and previous to Great Basin Gold was employed by Hecla Mining Company on various narrow vein properties in supervision and management. Mr. Crawford has worked at Hollister Mine since 2003 and for Great Basin Gold since 2007 as the Surface and Mine operations Superintendent.
