Ferdi Dippenaar has been President, CEO and a Director of Great Basin Gold Limited since 2005.

Mr. Dippenaar is a respected, long-standing member of South Africa’s gold mining industry. His career began at the Buffelsfontein Mine in 1982. In 1996 he became Managing Director of Grootvlei and East Rand Proprietary Mines. Following Harmony Gold’s acquisition of Grootvlei and Cons Modder, he was appointed Harmony’s Marketing Director. Mr. Dippenaar holds B.Comm, B.Proc and MBA degrees from North West University.
